The brand new for 2012 season of TopGear is finally going to air in Australia. We just saw episode one.

Our knee is bouncing nervously because we’re excited. It’s the TopGear we fell in love with – three silly blokes travelling the world, getting up to hijinks in impossibly fast (and expensive) supercars.

Behold the entire show, episode one of season 18. Beginning with…

1 It begins. Jeremy, Richard and James meet in Italy – in a Lambo Aventador, a McLaren MP4/4 and a Noble M600. Arguments immediately ensue, before the road trip begins.

2 Top speed challenge. The fellows arrive at Italy’s Nardo test ring for a thrilling top speed challenge, as each maxes out their respective supercars.

3 Debrief and The News. Jeremy, Richard and James jovially debrief their top-speed supercar challenge, before getting stuck into a perplexing blend of hilarious news.

4 Italian Road Trip. In three supercars, the boys begin crossing Italy en route to Rome. What could possibly go wrong? Lots, it seems.

5 Arriving in Rome. After playing in a tunnel, Jeremy and James arrive in Rome, whose ancient streets encourage terrifying traffic. Things get worse for Richard.

6 Will.I.Am. Jeremy meets Black Eyed Peas star Will.I.Am, who reveals plans for his car company, before shredding it up on TG’s track in the Reasonably Priced Car.

7 Racetrack Battle I. Jeremy, Richard and James arrive at Imola racetrack, where the Italian Stig sets a benchmark lap in a Ferrari 458 – a time the boys are challenged to beat.

8 Racetrack Battle II. Having failed the previous day, Jeremy, Richard and James are back at Imola with their angry faces on in an effort to beat the Stig’s lap – and each other.
